The ICChange team is proud to announce a new partnership with fellow Grand Challenges Canada Stars in Global Health Award Grantee, Global Innovations for Reproductive Health and Life (GIRHL). GIRHL has recently developed a new innovative technology geared at decreasing stillbirth and low birth weight neonates in the developing world. GIRHL will be conducting a feasibility study in Accra, Ghana over the course of the next 18 months to assess the acceptability and compliance of the technology in this setting. The innovation has the potential to impact millions worldwide by decreasing preventable antenatal mortality.
ICChange will be involved in administering the group’s GCC grant for the feasibility study and provide technical support and consultancy to help make dissemination of this technology a reality.
